Working mainly in oils and acrylics, while experimenting with cold wax medium and oil, my love of colour draws people emotionally into my paintings.
The painting caught my eye because of the colours, the tones are just gorgeous. As I'm learning more about colour on a Soul level I look at the colours and they say fun, joy, compassion, nurture, healing, nature, space and love. When we learn about the colours and their qualities I feel they are all depicted in your painting just as I imagine them through my learning. I work with colour and to me this picture says it all”.

I love the colours and the way they blend with each other. The curve of the petals and stem are so smooth and look so soft. The highlights of the top petal contrast with the rest of the flower to make it stand out from the canvas. It encompasses all ‘my’ colours!
